Lifelong Wellness Application Paper Write a paragraph on each of the following: 1. What did you learn about “lifelong wellness” from taking this General Education class? I learned a lot of different things in this class. Different types of workouts that I can do to change my routine that will help prevent boredom. I learned what you should eat before and after workouts that will help create lean muscles, also different body types. We also discussed the importance of sleep and the best environment to get the most rest. 2. How would you apply this information to your life? I will apply this information when I workout, having the ability to do different exercises to get the best results. Being able to identify my body type will help me determine how much I need to work out, even though it is important for everyone to workout. Knowing the amount of exercise you should do daily will help me decrease stress and not over work my body. 3. What is your intention to continue to practice what you have learned in your life and why? I have high intentions to continue to practice what I have learned from this course. I will keep up exercising daily and staying active. I am planning on pre planning my meals because I found that helped me make healthier decisions during the day. 4. General ideas for improving this course? I loved this class, I learned a lot of good information that I can use throughout my life. The only thing I could suggest to improve the class is to do the assessment three times instead of only two. The only reason is because in the middle of the semester, I was working out every day and eating healthier. Towards the end of the semester I had less time to work out. |
