HLAC- Lifelong Wellness Application Paper
1. What did you learn about “lifelong wellness” from taking the activity class? During this course I have learned the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I have learned what steps I need to take to create a healthy life for myself. These steps are: getting enough sleep; exercising daily; staying hydrated; and choosing foods that are full of nutrients. After a period of time of doing these steps, I can tell there is a huge difference, having more energy and feeling better all around. 2. How would you apply this information to your life? I will apply this information in my life daily. By using the exercises I have learned in class, I will continue to keep building my strength and to increase my flexibility. This gives me motivation to make healthy decisions such as going to the gym daily, eating healthier, and staying active.
3. What is your intention to continue to exercise in your life and why? I have high intentions of continuing to work out daily and eating healthy. I want to continue doing Pilates once or twice a week because I can see a difference in my flexibility and posture. Taking this course I have learned a lot about Pilates and the new exercises I have acquired during this semester motivates me to keep working out.
